Eloy · Interstate 10
Septic pumping in Eloy — call today. For outlying houses, Toltec lots, and farm parcels beyond the city’s 400-foot sewer test.
How it works
Call now or send a request. Name the town and the job — pumping, repair, a sale inspection, a drain field, or a new system.
We confirm the town, the job, and a time that works. Mark urgent if sewage is in the house or a closing cannot wait.
The visit is booked. Pumping, repair, inspection, or field work gets on the calendar.
Farm water
Most of the Eloy planning area lies in the Central Arizona Irrigation and Drainage District. Those customers grow cotton, small grains, forage, and vegetables.
Housing stock
Sewer is treated as available when a sanitary main is within 400 feet of any part of the property, unless the city manager decides otherwise.
Eloy does not allow private sewage systems in Business Park, Light Industrial, or General Industrial districts. A shop in those zones is a sewer problem, not a septic one.
Say whether you are on Overfield, Hanna, Milligan, La Palma, or a city street such as Main or Frontier so sewer can be told from septic before the visit.
Book the right job
Inside the older grid near Main Street and the railroad, many occupied buildings are already on city sewer. The tanks that remain belong to houses the mains walked past, to manufactured homes on large lots, and to ranch properties that predate the collection system.
Sale traffic here is a mix of family transfers, rentals, and cash purchases of older manufactured homes. Arizona still requires the transfer-of-ownership inspection whenever a property served by an on-site system changes owners, including some transfers that are not a typical realtor closing. Buyers should not treat a verbal “the tank was pumped last year” as a substitute for the Report of Inspection.
Your tank is still an ADEQ on-site facility until the building sewer is physically moved to a main and the old tank is abandoned. Picacho Peak State Park sits along Interstate 10 east of town. Toltec and Sunland Gin sit between Eloy and Arizona City. Distances look short on a map and long once you add canal crossings and dirt roads after a storm.
For a closing, book the inspection early; rural lids take longer to find than a city backyard tank. People comparing towns can read the Arizona City page for Sanitary District rules or the Casa Grande page for the I-8 / I-10 city pattern. Those rules are not the 400-foot Eloy test.
City code treats sewer as available when a sanitary main is within 400 feet of any part of the property, unless the city manager decides otherwise. New houses in that band must connect, and the owner pays to extend the main. If no main is that close, Pinal County handles the septic permit. The city’s water and sewer availability letter is the document to ask for.
Parts of the Toltec area have lift stations and mains; other roads do not. Eloy publishes a sanitary sewer map and an interactive availability app. Do not assume a Toltec Road address is on a tank or on a main until someone checks the parcel against that map.
The private system has to be abandoned and filled under state and county rules once the building sewer is moved to the public main. Leaving an open or half-empty tank is how later cave-ins happen in driveways and livestock pens.
A second dwelling or a shop with plumbing is a new design flow. Pinal County sizes tanks and fields from bedrooms and fixtures, not from the original farmhouse permit. Ask for a design review before you add a sink, not after the field surfaces.
